Career Services offer computerized assessments to companies to assist them in their recruitment and selection decision making, when appointing new employees within their organizations. Organisations may also refer existing employees for assessments for career development and progression planning purposes.
- The assessment process involves an intake interview with the candidates that were referred by the potential employer, a computerised psychometric assessment, feedback interview, and a written report to the employer with recommendations.
- Candidates are required to provide permission (informed consent) that the assessment report be made available to the potential employer.
- Measurement areas: General reasoning (Cognition), assessment of occupationally related aptitudes, personality style, occupational interests, career values and motives.
- Duration of the intervention process: Between three to five hours. Report to company within 5 working days.
